Good morning and welcome to Monday Escapes. The last fortnight has flown by and we are now well and truly into the work and school routine with the summer holidays already feeling like a distant memory! I’ve been very busy posting reviews of our epic summer in Brittany and the Italian Lakes. If you’ve missed them you can find them here –
48 hours in Nantes with kids – Nantes has so much to offer for families including world-famous attractions and boat trips. I’ve shared how we spent our two days to help other families make the most of a visit to Nantes.
Review: Nantes Camping – A five-star campsite conveniently located close to the fabulous family friendly city of Nantes.
Review: Le Moustoir Camping – A four-star campsite with water slides, located close to the famous Carnac stones.
Lastly but certainly not least, I’m linking up our review of the luxury 3-bed villa we had the pleasure of calling home during our time in the Italian Lakes. Our friend Jo from Bookings For You has generously offered us a week in the same villa to one of our lucky readers! You can enter this fabulous exclusive giveaway here – Luxury Italian Lakes villa review & family holiday giveaway. Best of luck to you and your family!
Without further ado, Monday Escapes…
Monday Escapes is all about looking back at wonderful, happy travel memories and sharing them with others.
What’s in it for you?
The number one thing is you’ll be sharing your fantastic posts with a like-minded community and grabbing some travel inspiration for yourself. As a bonus you have a chance to have your blog post featured on all four, yes four of the hosts’ blogs each fortnight, introducing your blog to even more people. Our number one favourite post of the fortnight will also win a Lonely Planet destination guide, or a title from the Lonely Planet Kids range. How great is that?! (*T&C’s – The chosen Lonely Planet book must be in English and can only be sent to bloggers living within Europe).
Our favourite posts from last time
Our favourite posts from the last Monday Escapes were:
I loved Jo’s guide to family friendly accommodation in Cornwall which will be very useful for any parents planning a family break – 27 Baby and Toddler Friendly Places to Stay in Cornwall
I also loved Zen Baby’s review of the stunning Four Seasons Resort in Nevis, the Caribbean. It also seems like the perfect time to help promote this island after the damage it has suffered over the last few days.
Claire enjoyed reading about Lauren’s trip to Poland and how she weaved her trip around attending a wedding. You truly have to grasp every opportunity to travel!
Claire also thought it was fabulous to see a post about one of her favourite villages to visit in Devon – Clovelly. Tas’s pictures of this wonderful little fishing port are beautiful.
