2018 Family travel inspiration: Top 5 travel blogs to read

When looking for family holiday ideas the first place I always head to are the websites of my fellow family travel bloggers. I love reading their personal experiences of family holidays, being inspired by their photos/videos and following their tried and tested tips for travelling with kids.

Since I started Travel Loving Family nearly three years ago travel blogging has become increasingly popular and there are a heck of a lot more family travel bloggers on the scene. So who should you follow? (Apart from us of course!).  Below I have shared five blogs which I read on a regular basis and think you’ll enjoy reading too.  All five mums are passionate about travelling with their kids and all share inspirational articles which will help you plan a fabulous year of travel with your family.

Happy reading!  Let me know in the comments below where you would like to travel with your kids in 2018 after reading these family travel blogs –

Emma started blogging back in 2009 when she first moved abroad with her young family.  After two years of exploring Copenhagen and beyond they moved to Munich where A Bavarian Sojourn was born.

It now also contains posts on what it’s like to repatriate, as the family returned to the UK last year (who knows where they will end up next!).

Follow their journey as for the first time in over 7 years they get to introduce their children to their own country, as well as carrying on their travel addiction further afield.   Popular recent posts include:  Hiking the Emerald Trail – Austria; A Morning with Pippi Longstocking at Junibacken Stockholm and An Ex Insider’s Guide to Munich with Kids.
