Wow what an incredibly hot weekend. I hope this weather remains for the rest of the summer! I’ve spent the weekend unpacking and getting through a HUGE pile of laundry from our fabulous week reviewing Bluestone National Park Resort in Pembrokeshire. Our first time visiting both Bluestone and Pembrokeshire but we will definitely be returning again soon…
Happy Father's Day to all of you Daddy's out there ❤️ Richard spent it on a stag do in Manchester 🙄 whilst I got through our mountain of laundry from our fabulous midweek stay at Bluestone. Friends have raved to us about @bluestonewales for years and I now understand why!! We had a fun week reviewing the national park resort. I think what surprised me the most was how stunning it is. I was fully expecting to love the Blue Lagoon, park and adventure centre but the actual park itself blew me away, it's an absolutely stunning place ❤️❤️ Full review coming soon! #bluestonewales #bluestoneblogger #pembrokeshire #wales #pembrokeshirenationalpark
We loved our lodge and the facilities at Bluestone and we particularly enjoyed the proximity to many stunning beaches. (I’ve spent alot of time on Rightmove since our visit to Tenby Beach on Wednesday!)
I was hoping to publish our review this weekend but to be honest it’s been too hot to sit working at a computer desk so I’ve spent the time in the garden instead! Instead this week I am linking up my review of Wychwood Festival from a couple of weeks ago. Claire is linking up her Al Fresco Holiday in France and Sarah is linking up her perfect family holiday at Ikos Olivia.
Without further ado I wish you safe travels and invite you to link up to Monday Escapes…
What is Monday Escapes?
Monday Escapes is a place for travel bloggers to link up travel memories and is hosted by myself, Sarah at Extraordinary Chaos, Claire at Tin Box Traveller and Karen at Mini Travellers (***your host for this week).
Claire and I were your hosts for the last Monday Escapes. Our favourite posts were –
Piccolo Explorer’s wonderful post about her Family Holiday in Orlando where they fully made the most of the areas attractions with visits to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
I particularly loved this guide to the Cotswolds by my fellow Cotswolds Bloggers, Adam and Sarah at Lewis Loves. The couple have shared their personal recommendations including best restaurants, coffee shops, views, festivals, events, farm parks and so much more. (I wish I had written this epic guide as it is so useful for locals and visitors alike!)
The Go Live Young family have had the most epic adventure as shared here – traveling around the world in eight months. Claire read the post in awe of all the wonderful places they saw and experiences they had together. What amazing family memories to keep forever!
Elizabeth’s post and pictures over on Elizabeth’s Kitchen Diary made us both dribble. She was treated to a tour of Paris’ best bistros and experienced some amazing food. This is why the French are renowned world-wide for their gastronomy. Yum!
Cindy from Piccolo Explorer is our winner of the Lonely Planet Book this month. Cindy please do get in touch with one of us to claim your prize!
