Climbing and caving activities at The Warehouse Climbing Centre, Gloucester
Over the holidays the climbing centre offer special activity tickets where you can experience approx 30 mins of each different activity including time in The Cave (an artificial caving system), on the Auto-Belays, the DigiWall and either Bouldering in the bouldering room or Kids Zone (depending on age and abilities). What a great way to experience quality time with friends whilst checking out everything that the The Warehouse has to offer! This February half term they are offering a discounted price of £12.50 for the 1.5 hour session (normal price £15). For ages 7+.

Lego Club, Gloucester Guildhall
This Lego Club sounds brilliant fun for Lego fans (and much cheaper than taking them to Legoland too!) – ‘Children will design, build and modify their own individual vehicles, with an extensive range of LEGO® elements to choose from. Our unique ramp and specially designed “LEGO® Mindstorm® Starting Station” lets drivers test and race their creations at the touch of a button! Recommended for ages 6 – 12 years. St James City Farm – Gloucester

A taste of the countryside in the heart of the city of Gloucester. Run as a community project by a charity. Kids will love meeting the local animal residents (and you will love the FREE entrance!) Monday to Sunday 9.30am to 4pm. Donations encouraged.
Free folk events across the city. Venues across Gloucester will once again open their doors for this years Folk Trail 22nd – 24th Feb. There will be a range of both traditional and contemporary folk musicians as well as events for children.

Join the Play Rangers by Play Gloucestershire for FREE fun and outdoor play in all weathers. The activities are targeted at 7-14 year olds although under 7’s are welcome and should be accompanied by a parent or carer. The range of activities include active play, den building, fires, arts and crafts, informal sports and games. Play sessions are taking place at playgrounds across Gloucestershire inc. Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Forest of Dean, Mickleton and Abbeydale.

Did you know that Slimbridge is the only place in the world you can see all six species of flamingo? If this is not enough to impress your kids then they might be interested in the South West’s Puddle Jumping Championships at Slimbridge. Daily from Tuesday 19th February to Friday 22nd February there are activity day workshops running including plant pot creation and plant pot bird feeders. Each session is just 1.5 hours long and geared towards different ages (10.30 – 12pm 3 – 7 year olds, 1 – 2.30pm 3+ year olds and 2- 4.30pm 8-18 year olds). The sessions are really good value for money at just £6 each which includes entrance to the gallery for one adult and one child and all art supplies used in the session. One of our favourite all weather local attractions with animal experience centre, soft play areas, a playground, a castle to explore, a beach barn, jumping pillows and trampolines. Cattle Country is open daily for the half term holidays 16th February – 24th February with live lambing, calf bottle feeding and small animal handling at various times during the day.
