The video footage was taken during a recent press trip I was kindly invited to attend with the Lanzarote tourist board and BritMums. Some of the footage is a little wobbly, especially during the rather bumpy camel ride, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect during a visit to the Timanfaya National Park (where you can get up close and personal to some of the islands 300 volcanoes). It also demonstrates what it’s like to walk through one of the world’s longest underground lava tubes, includes a tour around the Jardin De Cactus (the islands Cactus Garden) and footage of the facilities at Costa Teguise Aquapark Lanzarote and Rancho Texas park.

I was amazed at the stark natural beauty of the island. I’m not sure what I was expecting – but it surpassed all thoughts!
I really like the look of this for our next holiday destination. I can’t wait to go somewhere nice and hot. Especially in this chilly UK weather!
