Monday Escapes #68

Welcome back to Monday Escapes.  Another fortnight that has gone by in the blink of an eye!

We’ve had a quiet couple of weeks for once, we stayed with family in Yorkshire last weekend and all popped to a local farm to pick pumpkins which was good fun.  We’ve also got stuck in with a few DIY projects at home.  (Thank goodness we have some fun weekends coming up because I’m not keen on DIY to be honest!)  Here on the blog I’ve been reminiscing about our honeymoon in Hawaii and sharing our favourite days out in Lake Maggiore, where we spent the last week of our summer holidays.  Our Bookings For You Italian villa giveaway winner has also just been announced! Our giveaway winner revealed (and an exclusive discount for everyone who entered!)

Without further ado, Monday Escapes…

Monday Escapes is all about looking back at wonderful, happy travel memories and sharing them with others.

What’s in it for you?

The number one thing is you’ll be sharing your fantastic posts with a like-minded community and grabbing some travel inspiration for yourself. As a bonus you have a chance to have your blog post featured on all four, yes four of the hosts’ blogs each fortnight, introducing your blog to even more people. (Karen at Mini Travellers, Sarah at Extraordinary Chaos, Claire at Tin Box Traveller and myself).

Our favourite posts from last time

I loved reading Mary’s account of her family’s travels around Belgium and France in their caravan.  When planning a trip Mary tried to cram in as many stops as possible (which is exactly what I do) including a stopover in Paris and a visit to beautiful Bruges.  It was hilarious to read about her son flashing the locals!

Melissa also completely convinced me to book a winter short break in Seville after reading this post!

Spain-in-winter- www.extraordinarychaos.comClaire loved drooling over the stunning architecture of the Reichstag in this post by Sharon. She is yet to visit Berlin but will be adding this onto her bucket list.

Visiting The Reichstag in Berlin This is a superb round-up of a 10 day itinerary in India. Jenny and Jason cover everything from places to visit to how to get there and where you should spend more time if you can. Such a handy guide for anyone planning a similar trip.

Our Northern India itinerary with young kids And our favourite post is Melissa’s (the Family Voyage) – Spain in Winter post, we all want to visit and enjoy the festivities after reading her article.
